Super Cinnamon Toast

Super Cinnamon Toast

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 cups low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 finely chopped apple
  • 2 tablespoon raisins
  • 2 tablespoon  chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon  sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to broil.
  2. Toast bread and place on cookie sheet.
  3. Mix the cottage cheese with the apple, raisins, and walnuts and spread on the toast slices.
  4. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Broil until the cheese and cinnamon sugar is melted, about three minutes.
