Healthy Kids Lab Shines at 2025 BCSM Student Research Conference

The students of the Healthy Kids Lab brought big smiles and even bigger data to the 2025 Bailey College of Science and Mathematics Student Research Conference this month! With colorful posters and confident presentations, our young scientists shared their latest findings from three of the lab’s current studies: iBaby Study, Project EMBRACE, and the Infant INTAKE+ Study.

Each study explores the fascinating ways infants grow, eat, and interact with the world around them—making for research that’s as heartwarming as it is groundbreaking. From identifying new ways to measure infant intake to understanding early relationship building between mothers and babies, the posters sparked lots of great questions and conversations.

We couldn’t be prouder of our lab team for their curiosity, creativity, and commitment to helping little ones grow up healthy. Congratulations, Healthy Kids Lab—you’ve made science look adorable and impressive!
