Baked Banana Snacks

 

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • cooking spray oil

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Peel the bananas and slice into very thin (~1/8 inch) slices.
  3. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray the foil with oil.
  4. Spread the banana slices out across the foil and spray the slices with a little more oil.
  5. Combine the cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a small bowl.
  6. Using a spoon, sprinkle half of the mixture evenly over the slices.
  7. Flip the slices over and sprinkle the other half of the mixture evenly over the slices.
  8. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, until the chips are slightly brown around the edges.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes, and then peel the slices from the foil.
